RESOLUTION REQUESTING CALIFORNTA DEPARTMENT
OE TRAN3PORTATION TO PERFORM ENGII~EERING
SERVICES FOR BAGGETT-MARYSVILLE ROAD GRt1DE
SEPARATION STRUCTURE OVER idESTERN PACIFIC
RAILROAD
WH~R~AS, CounCy of BuC~e Baggeet-Marysville Road grade separation
project has been nominated on 1'.tJ.C. 1975-76 ~'.Y. priority list of grade
separation projects most urgently in need of separation, and
WH~RBAS, BuCte County Board o€ Supervisors find that workload of its
Public Works Department precludes it from performing the engineering design
o£ the Baggett-i~iarysvi].le Road grade separation structure.
NOW, TI~REFORE, BE IT R~SOLV~D that:
1. The County of Butte requests the State of California Department
of Transportation to conduct the foundation investigations; to
prepare pl.ans, specifications and engineer`s estimate for said
grade separati.on;
2. The County of Butte agrees to reimburse the State of California
for its costs in doi.ng such work;
3. The County of Butte xequests the State of Ca].iforni.a to advi.se
County Public Woxks Aepartment as to the sum of money estimated
to be needed tor said work so that the same may be deposited
with the State; and
4. The County ot Butte requests the State to advise the County
Public Works Department as to the probable date that said plans,
specifications and engineer~s estimate would be completed.
