RESOLUTION OVERRULiNG PROTESTS
WHEREAS, on the 30th day of December, 1974, the Board
of Supezvisozs of the County of Bu~te, State of California, adopted
its resolution fixing time and place for hearing on the Engineer's
Report in Firland Acres Assessment District, County of Butte, State of
California; and
WHEREAS, said resolution fixed the 18th day af February,
].975, at the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M. of said day at the meeting place
of the Board of 5upervisors of the County of But~e, located in the
Butte CountX Gour~khouse, 1859 l3ird, Oroville, California, as the time
and place for hearing protests with relation to the proposed improve-
ments and acquisitions desc~ibed in ~.he Engineer's Report, the grades
to which the work will be done, the extent of the assessment district,
or to the proposed assessment.
WHER~AS, protests or objections were filed in writing by
certain persons, firms or corgorations who were interes~ed in certain
of the property within the boundaries of said di.strict, which said
protes~s or abjections were deiivered to the County Clerk not la~.er
than the hour set for hearing such objections; and
WHEREAS, at the time se~ for hearing the protests and ob-
jections, said Board of Supervisors of ~he County of Butte proceeded
~o hear the same, and all of the protests or objections of every kind
and nature having been heard and duly considered;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY' RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors o£ the County of Butte, State of California, that all of
sai.d protests and objections of every kind or nature be, and the same
are hereby, overruled or denied; and '
IT IS iiEREnY FURTHER RE50I,VED that ~.he Board of Supervisors
finds that said protests and objections are made by tihe owners of less
than one-half of the area of the property to be assessed for said

~ HEREBX CERTTFY that the foregozng resplutian was duly
and regularly adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County o~
Butte, State of Calitornia, at a regular meeting thereof, held on
~he <~8th.day of February, 1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: SupeYVisors Cameron, McKillop, Richter and Chairman Ladd
NOES: Supervisors None
ABSENT: SupeYVisors Superrrisor Madigan
