RESOLVED B5C 2'HE SOARD OF SUPERVI$ORS OF THE COUNTY Ok' HUTTE~
STAZ`E OF CALIFOTtAIIA:
~'hat this Board hereby employs GALE E. PECK,
lattorney at Law, 3465 American River Drive, 5uite C, Sacramenta,
~ Cali~ornia,
to prepare all the resolutions, notices, affidavits,
and other Iegal documents necessary for the improvement proc~
ceedings for Lassen Avenue Assessment District No. 1 in the
County of Butte,
to advise this Board and other offica.a].s of the
County of Butte in a11 matters pertaining to ~he Improveznent
Act of 1911 un~il improvement bonds are issued, and
to prepare and sign an opinion respecting the validity
of any impravement bonds issued to represent unpaid assessments
levied in, said assessmen~ district.
That this Board hereby directs that said attorney`s
compensation shall be the amoun~ of tnoney which is equal to 3~
of the construction cost of the work and improv2ments for said
assessment district, that said sum be charged to and paic~ from
the incidental expenses for said assessment district, and that

{1) ~At or after the cont~act for the work is ~
signed, one-half

~Provided that in the event the County of Butte does
,not pxoceed reri~h this assessment proceedings pass the hearing
,on the Resolu~ion Declaring the Public Convenience and Necessity
'then in such event the County of Butte shall pay to GALE E. PECK
the sum of $500.00 from funds other than the a.ncidental
expenses for said assessment distric~. Provided fuz~her that
if said County of Butte proceeds with this assessment prnceedings
past the hearing on said Resolution Declaring Public Convenience
and Necessity but not pass the izearing on the Resolution o~
Intention then said County of Butte shall pay to GALE E. PECR.
the sum of $1,000.00 from funds other than the incidental
expenses for sazd Assessment District.
