OF TRANSPORTAPION TO PEIiFORM A NOISE LEVEL

WHEZ2EA5, County of Butte proposes to reconstruct C1ark Road
from 350 feet Nou~it:o£ Pearson Road to 500 Eeet North o~ Elliott Road
and from 500 feet South of Bi11e Road to SOQ feet Nort~, of Bille Road.
' And,
WHEREAS, it is proposed to construct the project using ~'ederal
Funds under the Federal A~.d Urban Yrogram and,
WHEREAS, the Federal Ii.ighway Administration requires th.aC aL7.
applicable federally funded highway projects tequire a noise level
study be performed and,
WHEREAS, ~'h.e County of Butte does not have the necessary trained
personnel or equipmenC to perform said noise level study.
NOW, fiHEREFOItE, be it resolved that:
1. T#ie County of Butte hereby requests the 5tate of California
Department of Transportation perform the reqnired nofse
leue3. study for the Claxk Road.PAU ~roject;
2. The County of Butte agrees to rei.mburse the Stiate of California
for its costs in per£pa~+ming said study;
3. The County af Butte requests the State of California Department
of Transportation to advise the County Public Works Department
as to the sum of money estimated to be needed for said study
so that the same may be deposited with the State.
