Y~~REAS, the Butte County Board of Supervi.sors has determined that an
app3.i.cation fo~ ~fousing and Communitj* Deve~agnent Act grant funds is necessary
for the County; and
Wf~R.EAS, this Board has established a Community Developnent Advisory Commi~~ee
to a.dentify and recortunend housing and communa.ty development needs; and
WHF~tEAS} a County-wide survey of citizen needs was undertaken and tabula~ed;
and
WE~REEAS, ttao public hearings have been advertised and held to provic~e
citizens an adequate opportur~ty to participate in the develognent of the
app].~,c~tion and a11 revisions, changes and amendments.
NOW~ THEREN~ORE, HE IT RFSOLITED that the Board of Supervisors of the Caunty
o.f Bu~te hereby approves the attached above-entitled appLication, witke the
administrative and planning costs to be reimbursalile from the gran~ and au-~horizes
the Chairman of this Board to execute same on beha7.f of the County o£ Butte.
