RESOLUTIOAT OF AWARD OF CONTRACT, FIRLAIVD'ACRES
ASSESSMENT DISTRIGT, COUNTY OE BUTTE, STATE OF
• CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS., by Resolution adppted on the 30th day of December,
1974. it was directed that bids be called for the improvement work
to be done in Firland Acres Assessment District, County of But~e,
State of California, and that the time fixed tor receiving sealed bids
or progosals was the 22nd day of ~anuary, 1975, at the hour of
11:00 o'cl.ock A.M. of said day; and
WHEREAS, Notice Inviting Sealed Bids was duly published
in the time and rnanner required by law; and
WHEREAS, all bids having been publicly opened, examined
and declared pertaina.ng to the doing of the work and improvemen~s des-
cribed in the Resolution of Intention, as amended, which Resolution
of Intention, as amended, is hereby expressly referred to for a de-
scra.ption af said improvements, and for all other particulars rela-
tive to the proceedings under said Resolution of Intention, as amended;
and
WHERPAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of But~e,
State of Californza, on the 18th day of February, 1975, qrdered the
improvements and acqua.sitions to be made in said assessment district;
• NOW, 2HEREFORE. IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Board o~
Supervi.sors of ~he County of Butte, State of California, hereby rejects
all of said praposals or bids, except that herein mentioned, and hereby
awards the contract for said improvements to the Zowest responsible
bidder, to wit: S. N. PHILLIPS CONSTRUCTION CO., at the prices named
in the bid of said bidder on file in the o£tice of the County Clerk
of the County of Butte; and
IT IS HEREBY DIRECTED tYcat the County Clerk of the Caunty
of Butte publish a Notice of Awaxd of Contract.
