Home My WebLink About75-075RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLTSH COUNTX SERVIC~ AI~A WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 3 of the Government Code of ~he S~ate of California, the Soard o~ Supervisors of Butte County ~ave instituted proceedings for the estabiishment of a county service area w~thin the County of Bur~e, and WHEREAS, the LOCAL AG~NCY FORMATION COMMISSION of the County o~ Butte has appzoved the establishmen~ of said Service Area No. 53. NOW, THEREFORE, BE ST RESOLUED by ~he Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows: 1. That a county service area is proposed to be established under the tenns of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area of Butte County; the boundary lines of the terri~ories proposed for inclusion in the area are mor~ particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference as though fully set forth verbatim and ar length. 2. Tha~ the proposed name ~or said county service area is County Service Area No. 53. 3. That there are no e~tended county services provided in this area. 4. That the type of extended service proposed to be prov~ded xs stru~tural fire protection services. 5. Tha~ an election wiZ1 be called to establ~sh a maximum properCy ta~ rate within the area which is suf£icient to provide for a tax to pay tor such services wnich are furnished on an extended basis, such tax to be annually levied upon all taxable property within this area. ~S-~s 6.
