Helona, et al, to allow the abandonment o~ a public highway as described
below, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority vested in this Board under
Government Code §§50430, et seq•, this Board wishes to declare its
intention to abandon a pubZic highway as described belota:
NOW, THERErORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that a~ its regular
meeting on _,7uly 8 , 1975, at 11:00 a•m. , in the Board
Chambers, Butte County Administratzon Building, Oroville, a Y~earing shall
be held on the aband.onment of the following described public highway.
A11 that certain 60 ft. wide street shown as Orchard Street,
on the "Map o~ the Ninth Addition of ~he John Bidwe~.l Rancho
to Chico, Butte County, Califarn.ia" as recorded in Book 4
Maps of Record at Page 64, Butte County, California. More
particularly described as ~o].J.ows:
Bounded on the north by the sou~Cherly line o£ Tenth St.,
and on the south by the m.oxCherly line o~ Humboidt Ave.
Also bounded on the west by the easterly line of Block 13
and on the east by the westerly line of B~ock 14 as shown
on the said Bidwell Ninth Addi~ion, being more commonly
known as Clover Street.
Reserving therefroa. all rights of the public utilities in
accordance with 6.959_1 of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of Califoznia.
2. That thzs Resolution be posted and published pursuant
to the provisions of GovernxuenC Code §§50440 and 50441.
