WHEREAS, CERALD A. LETSQN has been employed by the CaJ.z.~orni.a Di.viszon
of Fores~ry since 1948, and
WHERFAS, GERALD A. LETSON has been the Ranger-in--Charge and Co~nty
Fire Warden in Butte County since 1968, and ~
WHE~AS, this Baard has learned with regret of his trans~er to his
new duties in the California Division of Forestry, regret in the sense
that this Board most sincerely regrets hxs leaving, and yet wishes to aiso
express its congratulations and best wishes on hzs promotion, and
WHEREAS, GERA~,D A. LETSON has not onlp done an outstanding job as
Ranger-in-Charge and County r'ire 4+larden in tsutte ~ounry since lyt~zs, ou~
should also be especially co~ended for his outstanda.ng wark in.organizing
and trai.ning af volunteer fire fighting companies.
NOW, THEREFdRE, BE I`T RESOLVED by this Soard of Supervisors:

is most highly commen.ded and ~hanked for his outstanding services renderecl
to the people o~ this County. ~
