RESOLUTION N0. 75-95
Bnard of Supervisors
County of Butte
California
WHEREAS the Supexintendent of Butte County Schools desires fo undertake
a certain project designated Juvenile Delinquency Prevention, School Attend-
ance and Review Board to be funded in part from funds made available through
the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, PL 90-355, as amended
PL 91-644, (hereafter referred to as the Safe Streets Act) administered by the
California Council on Criminal Justiice (hereafter referred to as CCCJ).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Assistant Superintendent of
Butte County Scliools was authorized, on its behalf, to submit the attached
Application for Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes to CCCJ and is authorized
to execute on behalf of tihe County of Butte the attached Grant Awaxd Contract
for lata enforcement purposes including any extensions or amendments thereof.
BE IT FURTH&R RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide all match-
ing funds required for said project (including any extension or amendment
thereof) under the Safe Streets Act and the rules and regulations of GCCJ
and the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration and that cash will be ap-
propriated as required thereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder shall not
be used to supplant on-going law enfoxcement expenditures.
