WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code §§9250.7 and 22710 provide
foz an l~bandoned Vehicle Trust Fund an.d a method of disbursement
o£ £unds to local agencies that participate in the Abandoned
Vehicle Abatement.Program and,
WHEREAS, the County of Butte, State of California has
adopted on Ordinance::i.n accordance with the California Vehicle
Code providing for the Abatement of Abandoned Vehicl.es, and
WETLR~AS, the County ot Butte, State of California desires
to par~icipate in the Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Program and share
in the monies in sai:d Abandoned TJehicle Trust Fund.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the County of Butte
participate in the Abandoned Vek~.~.cle Abatement Program from
Ju1y 1, 1975 until June 30, Z976,
AND BE TT FiTRTHER RESOLV~D THAT the Di.rector of Public
Works is hereby authorized to execute the contract with the
Departmenr of the California Highway Patrol for partzcipation in
said Abandoned Vehicle Program.
