Board of Supervisors oi the County of Butte, State o~ California,
adopted and passed a Resolu~ion of Intention to Establish County
Service Area ~o be entitled "COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 53", and
WHEREAS, said Resolv.~ion fixed the l.se day of ,7uly , 1975,
at 2:00 p.m., of said day, in the Board of Supervisors Room o~ the
Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, 5tate of Cali~ornia,
as the time and place ~or the public hearing on the establishment
of said area, and
WHEREAS, said Board, at said tirne and place, proceeded to
hear arguments both for and against the estabiishmerit of said
area, and
WHEREAS, no written protests against the establishment
thereof were filed in accordance with §25210.17 0£ the Government
Co de .
NOW, TfiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board. of Supervisors
of the County of Butre, State of California, as fallows:
1. That said Board hereby finds and determines ~hat
proceeclings herein were conducted pursuant to §25210.1 et seq. of
~he Governmen~ Code, and ehar publicarzon and no~ices were given
pursuant ~hereto, and rhar said Board finds and de~ermines tha~ rhe
extent to which the services described in the Resolution of Intention
are extended county services;
2. That rhe boundaries o~ said. service area are hereby
finally determ.ined and es~ablished as the same as are shown on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and incorporated herein by referen~e
and made a part of this resolution.

ENTITLED "COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 53"
(Government Code §§25210.1 et seq.)
3. That the name of said proposed service area is "COUNTY
S~RVICE AREA NO.. 53".
~. That the type o~ extended county services to be provided
within said area is structural fire protection services.
5. An eLection is hereby ca~led an~ ordered to be held in
the proposed service area on Tuesdap, ~he ~+th day of November, 1975
for the purpose of determining whether said service area shall be
organized and formed with the boundaries as above set forth, and
submitted to the qualified electors of and within said propo.sed
commun.ity services area snall be the following proposition:
"Shall the Community Services Area Number 53 be
formed under the Community Services~Area Lasa as proposed
with a maximum tax rate for the area of seventy-five cents
($.75) per one hundred dollars ($100.00)~of assessed valuation
of all taxable properey within the area."
6. The.election shali be held and conducted by the County
and the balZots canvassed in accordance with the provisions of
Article 1(commencing with Section 3700) ot Chapter 2, Divi~sion 4 of
the Election Code.
7. If the majority of the votes cas~C a~ ~he election is in
~avor of forming the service area and establishing a maximum tax rate
in the aervice area, the Soard o_f Supe~visors sha11, by resolution
entered in its minutes, declare the sezvice area established under
the Community Service Area Law, gzvxng tihe name of the service area,
the purposes for which it is formed, describing i~s boundaries and the
maximum tax rate established in the area.
