the Board of Supervisors ot the County of Butte, State of California,
on Jul 8 , 1975, ~n the Supervisors' Room of the Butte
County Administration Building fronting on Huntoon Street, in Oroville,
Califarnia, Bu~te County, and it appearing to said Board that a Notice
of Intention and Resolution to Abandon a Publ~c Hi~hway and Notice of
Time and Place of Hearing of sazd Abandonment was duly and regularly
given as required by law, and testimony and evidence, both oral and
documentary, having been produced at said hearing, from which said
Board now finds that the hereinafter described Public Highway is
unnecessary for present and prospective use;
NdW, THER~~OR~, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AS FOLLQWS:
1. That the public highway situate in the County of Butte,
State of California, as hereinafter more particularly described, is
hereby abandoned.
2. Tha~ tne description of said public highway so abandoned
is situate in the County of Butte, State of California, and more
particularly described as follows:
Al1 tha~ certain 60 ft. wide street shown as Orchard Street,
on ~he "Map of the ~inth Addition of the John Bidwell Rancho
to Chico, Sutte County, California" as recorded in Book 4
Maps o~ Record at Page 64, Butte County, Californ~a. More
particu~arly described as follows:
Bounded on the narth by the southerly line of ~en~h St.,
a~d on the so~th by the northerly line of Humboldt Ave.
Also bounded on the west by the easterly line of Block 13
and on the east by the westerly line o£ B1ock 14 as shown
on t~e said Bidwell Ninth Addition, being more commonly
known as Clover S~reet.
Reserving ~herefrom all rights bf the public utilities in
accordance with §959.1 of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California.
