the Department of Housing and U~ban Deve~.opment is au~horized to
make assistance payments for exisCing housing for low-income
€amilies, and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to provide housing for low-.
income £amilies in the County of Bvtte, and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte has been invited by the
Department of Housing and Urban Development to apply for funds to
implement a Section 8 existing housing program, and
WHEREAB, the County of Butte may designate a Public Housing
Agency to make application ~or said funds, and
tnIHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the County of Butte
is an existing Public Housing Agency duly organized and existing
under and by virtue of the laws of the State of California pursuant
to Health and Safety Code §§34200, e~ se ., and
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the County of Butte
has, by Reso~.ution No. 318, agreed to make application for fun.ds.
NO'W, THERE~'ORE, BE ST RESOLVE~ by the County of Butte
that.
_ The Housing Authority of the County of Butte is
designated to apply for funds from the Depar~ment of Housing and
Urban Developmenr for purposes of implementing a Section 8
existing Houszng program.
