RESOLUT~ON MAKING APPLICATION TO LOCAL AGENC'Y FORMATION
COMMISSTON FOR ANNEXATI0IV OF TERRITORX TO COUNTY SERVTCE
AREA N0. 4- _
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
intends to consider a proposal for annexation of the territory
hereinafter describsd to County Service Area No. 4 and desires to
initiate a proceeding for said an.nexation pursuant to the District
Reorganization Act, beginna.ng with §56000of the Government Code, and
WHEREAS, pz~.or to adop~ion of a resolution by the Board
of Supervisors inita:ating annexa~ion proceedings it is necessary to
apply to the Butte County Loca1 Agency Formation Commission for
its review and approval or disapproval of the progosed annexa~ion..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ZT RESOLVED AND ORDERED by the Butte
County Board of Supervisors as fo~lows:
1. Application and a proposal is hereby made ~o the Butte
County Local Agency Formation Commission ~ox the annexation of
certain uninhabited territory to County Service Area No. ~. The
exterior boundaries of such terra.to~y are described in Exhibi~ "A"
attached hereto and made a part hexeof by ~his reference.
2. The reason for this pxoposal is to provide maintenance
and servicing of drainage faci.lities and construction, operation,
replacement, maintenance and repair of sewage collection, transpor-
Cation and disposal systems.
3. 'The Clerk of the Board is Authorized and directed to
file a certified copy of this resolution with ~he Executive O~~icer
of the Butte County Local Agency Formation ComLnission.
