HomeMy WebLinkAbout75-131BOARD OP SUPERVTSORS CO~NTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTZON FIXING TAX RATES IN THE COUNTY OF BUTTE (Go e mm ~ Code 5ect'ons 2 100 0 2 0 Tn 1 s' e) WHEREAS~ the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALTFOR~IA, did at a regula~ meeting of said Board, and after due and proper notice as required by law~ by resolution adopt a final budget for the COUNTY OF BUTTE €or the fiscal year 1975-76~ which said Aesolution is on file in the office of the C1erk of said County; and WI-IEREAS, it is incumbent upon said Boaxd~ in accordance with Articls 5, Division 3, Title 3(being Sections 29100 to 29109 inclusive, of the Govern- ment Code) ~o by resolution fix the tax rate of said County for the fiscal year 1975-76; NOW, THEREFOR~, B~ IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STAT~ 0~ CALIFORNIA AS FOLLOWS: 1. That said Board does hereby fix the rates of County and District taxes on the secuxed roll of said Co~nty for the fiscal year 1975-76 by designating the number of cents levied for each fu~d on each One Hundxed noiia~s ($100.00) of taxable value in the County of Butte for the fiscal year 1975-76 as is hereinafter se~ forth. The designated rates as hereinafter set forth are such as will prodUCe after due allowance for delinquency as fixed by law or as hexeinafter fixed by this Board and in the same manner as tax rates are fixed, ~he amount found by deducting from the total appropria- tions and reserves: (a) The amount of established revenue from o~her sources (b) Available surplus 2. Except as to any other allowance for delinquency as fixed by law or this Board, a sum equal to five per cent (5%) of the assessed valuation of the 1oca1 secured roll and the local unsecured roll is hereby determined as the allowance for delinquency; 3.
