RESOFIVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF ~H~ COUNTY OF BUTTE,
S'PATE OF CALIFORNIA:
That this Board hereby emploXs ~ALE ~, PECK, Attorney ati;
Law, 3465 American River Drive, Suite C, Sacramento, California,
to p~epare all the resolu~ions, notices, affidavits, and'
other legal documents necessary for the improvement proceedings
for Sacraznento Avenue Assessment District No. 1 in the County;
of Butte,

to advise this Board and other officials of the County ofi ~
But~e in all ma~ters pertaining to ~he Improvement Act of ~.911,' '
until improveznen~ bonds a~e issued, and
to prepare and sign an opinion respecting the validity
~
of any imp~ovement bonds a.ssued to represent unpaid assessments ;
levied in said assessment district.
That this Board hereby directs that said attorney's compen-~
sation shall be the amount of money which is equal to 3~ af the
construction cost of the work and improvements for said assess?="
ment district, that said sum be charged to and paid from ~he inci-
dental expenses for said assessment district, and that said sum
shall be paid to him as ~ollows:

1) At or af~er the contract for the work is
signed, one-half
2) At or after the assessment is confirmed,
one-half .
Prova.ded tlzat in the event the County of Butte does no~E
proceed with this assessment proceedings pas~ the hearing on the
Resolution Declaring the Public Convenienae and Necessit~ then
in such event the County of Butte shall pay to GALE E. PECK the
sum of $500.00 from funds other than the incidental expenses
fo~ said assessment district. Provided further than if said
County o~ Butte proceeds with this assessment proceedings
past ~the hearing on said Resolution Declaring Public Convenience
and Necessity but not past the hearing on the Resolution of
Intention then said County of Butte shall pay to GALE E. PECK '
the sum of $I,000.00 from funds other than the incidental expenses
for said Assessment District.
