WHER~AS; the Board of Supervisors received notice from
.7ames I~. Price, Area Director, Department of Housing and Urban
Aeve~.opmen.t, Un.a.ted States Government, dated JuJ.y 29, J.975 of award
of a Communz.ty Development D~.sc~etiona~y Grant, No. B-75-AN-06-0003.
WHEREAS, tk~.e Butte County Housing Authority is successfully
operating a number of housing prograins within the county,
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the Covnty of Butte
wish to desigr~.ate the Sutte County Housing Authority puzsuan.t to
~ederal regulations §570.500.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board as fallows:
l. That the Butte County Housing Authority, a body politic
organized under the laws of the State of Caiifo~nia is hereby designated
to undertake the community deveiopment program delineated in prograin
Vo. B-75-DN-06-0003, Depaxtment of Housing and Uxban pevelopment to
the extent such desi.gnati.on is permitted under federal regulations
§570.500.
2. 'i'he County of Butte is no~ rel~.eved of i~s responsibilities
in assuring the administration of the progzam in accordance with aIl
H~TD requirements.
3. fihat the environmentaI. review ~equired of any developments
pv.rsuant to the grant application and grant shall be conducted by ~he
County of Sutte.
4. All actions undertaken by Che Buete County Housing
Authority relative to this grant must be approved by the Board of
Supervisors in advance.

5. Ti~le to any property purchase pursuan~ ~o ~he afore-
men~ioned program shall be held in the name of the Butte County
Housing Authority.
6. Should anything in this resolution be held contrary
to the rules and xegulat~vns o~ the Deparment of Housing and Urban
Development then in that event said provision oz p~ov~s~ons of this
~esolu~ion shall be deemed null and void.
7. The ~u~~e County auditor is hereby directed by the
Board of Supervisors to oversee the funding and other financial
requirements of the aforementioned gran~. In ~his regard the Butte
County auditor shall establish procedures, such procedures must be
consistent with ~he ~equire~ents, rules and regulations of the
~epartment af Hous~ng and Urban Development.
