WHEREA,S, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of Ca~ifornia on the lst day of July, 1975 adop~ed and passed
a resolution calla.ng ~or an e7:ection to be held in the proposed
service area on. Novembez 4, 1975 for the purposes of determining
whether said service area should be organ.ized an.d formed and setCing
a maxim~zm tax rate for said serva.ce area, an.d
WHEREAS, a majority of ~Che votes cast in said election were
in favor of establishment of said service area and the maximum ta~
rate,
NOW, Ti-FEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, StaCe of California as follo~as:
I. That said Board hereby finds and de~ermines that
proceedings herein were conducted pursuant to §25210.1 et seq. of the
Government Code, and that publication and n.otices were given pursuant
thereto, and that said Board finds and de~ermines that the exten~ to
which. tl-~e services described in the resolution of ixz~ention are
extendefl coun~y services;
2. T1Zat the name o~ said covnty serv~.ce area is "County
Service Area No. 53";
3. 'That tkze type of extended county service areas to be
provided with~.n said area is structural fire protection services.
4. ~nat the boundaries of the county service area as
determined and established are the same as are shown on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and incorporated herein by referen.ce and made a par~
of this resolution. -
