HomeMy WebLinkAbout75-166AWHEREAS, the Butte County Local Agency Form.afiion Commission, after appropriate proceedings, adopted Reso].ution 75-27 on Novem.ber 6, 1975 approving said annexation and found, determined and resolved as follows: 1. The exterior boundaries o~ the territory to be annexed are as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference. 2. The territory proposed for annexation is uninhabited. 3. That the following distinctive short form designation shall be used throughout these-;pzoceedings: LAFCO No. 75-29 Annexa~ion to County Service Area No. 4 - Harol.d Hanrion WfiEREAS, the reason for this annexation proposal is to provide maintenance an,d servicing of drainage facil.ities and con.- struction, operatiori, replacement, maintenance and repair of sewage collection, transportation and disposal systems, for the described territory. . NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOZVED as follows in compliance with the requirements of the District Reorganization Act and the determinations of the Local Agency Formation Commission: 1. It is the intention of th.is Board to annex the ter- ritory hereinbefore described to County Service Area No. 4. 2. A pubI.ic hearing sha11 be held on th.i.s pzoposed annex- ation on December 30, 1975, at I1:30 a.m., i.n the Board of Super- visors Room, Butte County Admi.nzstration Building, O~oville, California. RESOLUTION AND NOTICE OF INTENTTON TO ANNEX TERRITOiZY TO COUNTY SERVICE AREA ADFD SE'TTING PUBLIC HEARING (LAFCO 1~Io. 75-29, Proposed Annexation to County Service Area No. 4) 3. Any interested person desiring.to make written pro- test against the proposed annexatian sha11 do so by signed, written communication tiled with the C1erk of the Board of Supervisors at the County Administration Building, Oroville, California not la~er than the hour set for hearinge Any such written protest by a land- owner_shall confiain a descriptio~ sufficient to identify the land owned by him; a protest by a vo~er shall contain the residential address of such voter, 4. The Clerk is direcred to certify to the passage of ~his resolution; ~o have it published once each week for two succes- sive weeks in the Paradise Post ,~he first such publication to be at least 15 days prior to the date set tor hearing and continue until the time of rhe hearing; and to mail a copy of this resolution, postage prepaid, to each land owner owning land in the te~ritory proposed for annexation and to all persons and counties, cities or districts which have he~etofore filed a written request for special notice with the Clerk, such mailing to be completed at least 15 days prior to the date of the hea~~ng.
