Ttce exterior boundaries of the territory to be annexed are as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference. 2. Tha~ the following distinctive short form desi.gnation shall be used throughout these proceedings: LAFCO No. 75-30 Anne~eation to County Sezvice Area No. 24. WHEREAS, th.e reason for this annexation pzoposal is ~o provide maintenance and servicing of drainage facili.ties and con- struction, operation, raplacement, znaintenan.ce and ~epaix of sewage colZection, tran.sportat~.on and disposal systems, for ~he described ~erritory. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows in compliance with the requirements of the District Reorganization. Act and the determinations o~ the Local Agency Formation Commission: 1. Zt is the intention of this Board to annex the tex- ritory hereinbe~ore described to County Service Axea No. 24. 2. A public hearing shall be held on this proposed annex- ation on December 30, 1975 at 11:30 a.m., in the Board of Supervisors Room, Butte Covnty Administration Building, Ozoville, Cali~ornia. RESOLUTION AND NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ANNEX TERRITORY TO COUNTY SERVICE AREA AND SETTING Pi7BLrC T~Et1RING (LAFCO No. 75-30, Proposed Anne~ation to County Service Area No. 2~) 3. Any interested person desirzng to make written pro- test against the propose~ annexation sha11 do so by signed, written communication filed with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors at the County Administration $uilding, Oroville, California not later ~han the hour set ~or hearing. Any such written pratest by a land- owner sha11 contain a description sufficie~t to iden~i~y the land owned by him; a protes~ by a voter sha11 contain the resident~al address of such voter. 4. The Clerk is directed to certzfy to the passage of ~his resolurion; to have it gublished once each week for two succes- si~e weeks in ~he _ Chico Enterprise-xecora , the ~irst such publication ~a be a~ leas~ 15 days prior to the date set for hearing and con~inue v.nril the time o~ the hearing; and to mail a copy of ~his resolution, postage pzepaid, to each landowner owning land in the territory proposed for annexation and to all persons and counties, cities or dis~ricts which have heretofore filed a written request for special not~ce with the Clerk, such mailing to '.b.e completed at least I5 days prior to the date of the hearing.
