WHEREAS, t'(~i.s Board has received a recottm~endation from Public
iTtilities Commiss3on that Washington Street be c3.osed between Nord Higkzway
and E. Commercial Street, which is the Sauthern Pacific Company right af way;
and
WH.£RF45, ~his Board::finds Washington Street where it crosses the
Southern Pacific Railroad should be closed for the protection of the public;
NOW, TIiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEll that pursuant to Section 942.5 0,£
the Streets & Highways Code, this Board hereby closes G7ashington Street
where zt crosses tfie Southern Pacific Company right of way.
