RESOW7ION OF THE BUT7E COU~TY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
WHEREAS the County af Butte desires to undertake a certain projeet
designated the Region C Narcotics and In~elligence Task Force to be funded
in part from funds made available pursuant to the Crime Control Act of i973,
PL93-83, administered by the Office of Criminal Justice P~anning {her'eafter
referred to as OCJP) for the Galifornia Cauncil on Criminal Justice.''
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Sheriff-Coroner of the County
of Butte was authorized, on ~ts behalf, ~o submit the attached Application
for Grant far Law En~orcement Purposes to OCJP and is authorized to execute
on beha7f of the County of Butte Board of Supervisors the attached 6rant
Award for law enforcement purposes including any extensions or amendments
thereof.
BE IT fURTHER RE50LVED that the applicant agrees to provide all:match-
ing funds required for said project (including any extension or amendment
thereof) under the Crime Control Act and the rules and regulations of OCJP and
the Law Enforcement Ass~stance Administration (L~AA) and that cash w~ll be
appropriated as required thereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLU~D that grant funds received hereunder sha11 not
be used ta supplant on~going Taw enforcement expenditures.
