Board of Supervisors of the County ot Butte, State of California,
adopted and passed a Resolution of Notice of Intention To Annex
~e~ritory to County Service Area No. 24, and
WHERE:~S, said resolution fixed the 30th c3ay of December,
1975, at 11:30 a.m. of sazd day in the Soard of Supervisors' Rooin,
Administzation Building, City of Oroville, State of California, as
the time and place for the public hearing for the annexation of said
ter~a.tary, and
ti,THE]tEAS, said Board at said time an.d place proceeded to hear
arguments, both for anc~ against the annexation of said territory, and
ThIHEREAS, no written protests against the annexation of said
territory were filed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of Californ~a, as ~oilows:
1. That said Board hereby finds and determines the proceedings
herein. were conducted pursuant to Govexnment Code ~§25210.80, et s~.
an.d that publication and n.otice were given pursuan~ ~hereto, and
that said Bo.ard finds and detex~mines that th.e exten~ ~o which the
services described are extended coun~y services.
2. That~said Board hereby determines to annex territory to
said County Service Area No. 24. 'Fhe property is hereinafter
described.
3. That the boundaries af said territory to be annexed to
said Service Area No. 24 are hereby finally determined and establish-
ed and fu11y described as follows:

Being a portion of the City of Chico as shown on that certain
map entitled "Town of Chico," recorded in Book 1, Maps o~
Record at page 43, on August 26, 18b7, Butte County,
Cali~ornia more particularly described as follbws:
Beginning at the centerline of West Fifth Street at its inter-
section with the centerline of Ivy Street; thence northeasterly
along the centerline of West Fifth Street to its ineersection
with the centerl.ine of Main Street; thence sautheas~erly
along the centerline of Main Street to its interseetion wi~h
the centerline af West Sixth Street; thence southwesterly
along the cen.terline of L~1est 8ixth Street to its i.ntersection
with the centerline of ivy Street; thence northwesterly along
the centerline of Zvy Street to the place of beginn~ng.
Containing 15.9 acres more or less.
4. '~hat th.e type of extended services to be provided within
said terrztory to be annexed is for the purpose of operating,
maintaining, repairing and the upkeep of drainage and. flood facilities
located within the boundaries of the area.
