AN ORDINAaIiCE ADOPTING THE AUTO COURTS, RESORTS,
AND P~iOTELS ACT, BEIrdG DIVISION 13, PART 2.1 OF
THE CALIFORNIA HEALTH AND, SAFETY CODE AND
CALIFORNIA ADI~IIrIISTRATIVE CODE, TITLE 8, .CHAPTER
9, ARTICLE 6.
RULES AND REGULATIONS TO Ixti1PLENIENT, INTERPRET
AND MAKE r•10RE SPECIFIC. HEALTH AND, SAFETY CODE
PROVISIONS AND CONTAINED IN. BROCHURE RELATING
THERETO PUBLISHED BY THE DIVISION OF HOUSING AND
DATED, 1961, VT.LTH.THE EXCEPTION. OF SECTIOAI,18602
OF THE HEALTH.AND SAFETY CODE PERTAINING TO FEES
AIdD ADOPTTNG.A DIFFERENT SCI-~DULE OF FEES.
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
do oxdain as follows:
1. That the Act pertaining to Auto Courts, Resorts, and Motels,
being Division 13, Part 2.1 of the California Healthand Safety Code, excepting
therefrom Section 18602, and Title 8, Chapter 9, Article 6, of the California
Administrative Code, and the Rules and Regulations to Implement, Interpret and
.Puke More Specific Health and Safety Code Provisions, and as hereafter amended
by the Legislature or changed by the Division of Housing, are hereby adopted
as applying to all unincorporated areas of the County of Butte.
2. That in lieu of Section 18602 of the Health and Safi ety Code
setting forth fees, the following fee schedule is hereby adopted in the County
of Butte, and said fees shall be submitted with the appropriate application
for a permit:
(a) Plan filing fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00).
(b) Total valuation:
$ 1 through $ 4,000 - no fee
4,001 through $ l0,OQ0 - $5,00 per $1,000, less $20.00
10,001 through ~" 20,000 $4.50 per $1,000, less $20.00
20,001 through $ 30,000 - $4,00 per $1,000, less $20.00
30,001 through $ 50,000 - $3,40 per $1,000, less $20.00
50,001 through $ 75,000 -- $2.94 per $1,000, less $20.00
75,001 through. $ lOb,000 - $2.57 per $1,000, less $20.00
100,001 througYz $ 250,000 - $1,63 per $1,000, less $20.00
250,001 and up - $1.44 per $1,000, less $20.00
(c) Permit to operate, fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00).
(d) Duplicate permit fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00).
(e) Duplicate fees shall not be required, and any fees payable under
the Riley Act shaL1 not apply, providing the buildings and
stxRZCtures come within the provisions of this Ordinance.

(f) The plumbing and electrical permit fees as designated in the
State Housing Law, and provisions of the Administrative Code
adopted pursuant thereto.
3. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty C30) days after its
passage and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage,
it shall be published at least once with the names of the supervisors voting
for or against in a local newspaper published in the County of Butte, State
of California,
