Supervisors k~oom of the Butte County Aclm.inistra~ion Bui].ding,
Oxoville, State of California, as the time and place ~or the
public hearing on th.e establishment of said district, and
W~i~REAS, said Board, at said time and place, proceeded
to hea~ axguments both for and against the es~ablishment of said
district, and
WHEREAS, said Board, by resolu~ion, estabLished and
described th.e boundari.es of said district.
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED.,by t~.e Board of Super-
visors of the Coun.ty of Butte, State of California as fol7~ows:,:~
l. '~hat the bounda•ries of said proposed water district
are hereby finally determin.ed and established as the same as are
shown on ~xhibit "A" attached hereto, and incorporated herein b}r
~eference and made a part of this resolution;
2. That the name o~' said proposed water district is
S~ake Madrone T~Iater District ;
3. An election is hereby called and ordered to be held
in the proposed water district on Tuesday, th:e 2nd day of March, 1976
between. the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. taith the po7.ling place to
be at the Berry Creek Grange, for the purposes of determining
wheth,ez sai.d certaa~n water district shall be organized and ~ormed
with th.e boundaries as above set forth, and submitted to the
qualified electors o~ and within said proposed water district

OFFICES FOR THE DIS'TRIGT
sha1~ be the following proposition:
"Shall a Cali~ornia water district to be known as the
Lake Madrone Water -istrict be formed?;"
6. That five persons snall be elected to the off~ice
of director of the Lake Madrone Water District and one person
shall be elected to the office of Treasurer-Tax Collector--Assessor;
7. That the following named persons shall serve as a
Board of Election at such election:

determined and declared as nearly as may be pursuant to §35000-
§35125 of the Calzfornia Water Code;
9. That a11 voters and legal representatives of voters
may vote either in person or by proxy a~ the elec~ion;
PASSED AND ADOFTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte this 6th day of January _, 1976 by the?
