BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

WHEREAS the County of Butte desires to undertake a certain project
designated the Cris~s Intervention and Violence Prev~ntion Trainer Training
to be funded in part fram funds made available pursuant to the Crime Gontrol
Act of 1973, PL93-83, administ~red by the Office o~ Criminal Justice Rianning
{hereafter referred to as OCJP) for the California Council on Criminal Justice.
NOW, THER~FORE,:'BE IT RESOLVED that the District Attorney of the County
of Butte was authorized, on its behalf, to submit the attached Application for
Gran~ for Law ~nforcement Purpases to OCJP and is authorized ~o execute on
behalf of the County of Butte Board of Supervisors the attached Grant Award
for 1aw enforcement purposes ~nciuding any extensions or amendmen~s thereof.
BE IT FURTNER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide all'match-
ing funds required for said project (includ~ng any extension or amendmen~
thereof) under the Crime Controi Act and the rules and regula~ions of OCJP and
the ~aw Enforcement Assistance Admin~stration (LEAA) and that cash wi1:1 be
appropriated as required thereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder sha11 not
be used to s~pplant on-~oing 7aw enforcement expenditures.
