of the Government Code of the State of California, the Board of.Super-
visors of Butte County hav~ instituted proceedings for the establish-
ment of a county service area within the County of Butte, and
~HEREAS, ~he ~OCAL AGENCY FORNFATION COM~IISSTON of the County
of Butte has approved ~he establishment of said Service Area No. 56.
vbC~, THE1_~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board o£ Supervisors of
the Coun~y of Bu~re, State of California, as follows:
1. That a county service area is proposed to be established
under ~he terms of the aforesaid chapter in the ~.nincorporated area of
But~e County; the boundary lines o~ the territories proposed for ~nclu-
sion in the area are more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof by ref~erence as though fu17.y set forth
verba~im and at length.
2. Tha~ the proposed name for said county serva.ce area is
Gounty Service Area No. 56.
3. That there are no extended county services provided in this
area.
4. That the type of extended county services proposed to be
provided in this area is street lighting pursuant to Government
Code Section 25210.4a, located within the boundaries of the area
described herein.
5. That a tax sufficiant fio pay for such sexvices which are
furnished on an extended basis wi11 be annua11y.1evied upon all taxable
property within such area. ~
