IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Boaxd of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, that Chaix'man of the Board is hereby authorized
and directed to execuCe Righf of Way Certifica~.ion No. 2 dated ~'~i„-,.ar~2~
, 1976~ for the Clark Road ~'AU Project M-Y746(7.) in the name of
+ the County of Bu~Ce.
Be it furt[~er resolved that the County of Butte agxees to hold the
State of California harmless foz any liability which may result in the event
the right of way is not clear as cerCified. If the State is named in a damage
! suit~ as a result of the ri.ght of way not being clear as cerCified, the
CounCy of Butte agrees that~ a~ the request o€ tE~e $tate~ iti will assume fu11
responsibility for the conduct of the defense ax provide such assistance as
i C[~e State may requixe in connection with the defense.
