WHEREAS, the Lime Saddle Cammunity Service District was
organized pursuant to the provisi:b~s of that certain act o£ the
legisla~ure of the State of California entitled Community Service
District Law (Part 1, Division 3, Tit1e 6, comprising §§61000 to
61801, inclusive, of the Govern~nent Code of ~he State of California),
an d
WHEREAS, pursuant to §61102.5 of the Govexnment Code, the
Soard of Supervisors of the County of Butte was designated the
Board of Directors of the district, and
WHEREAS, pursuant ~o §6110~.5 of the Government Code, a;~:ter
formati~3n of the distxicC, proceedings may be commenced to prova.de
for separate Board o~ Directors by election, and
WHEREAS, pur~.uant Co §61102,5 of the Government Code, a
petition signed by at least 10 percent:.:of~:the registered voters
within the co~unity service di.st~ict requesting that a separate
Board of Directors be elected has been presen.~ed to the Board of
Supervisors, and
WHEREAS, this Board having determix~ed that said petition meets
alZ the requirements of §61102.5 0~ the Government Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Sutte, State o~ California as follows:
i. An election is hereby called and ordered to be held in the
Lime Saddle Community Service District on '~uesday, June 8, 1976, ~or
the purpose of electing the first D~.rectors of the separate Board
of Directors.
2. That ~ive persons sha11 be e7.ected to the office of Director
of Che Lime Saddle Community Service District.

3. '1"k~at ~he aforesaid election sha~l be and the same is hereby
eonsol~dated with the State Primary Election ~o be held on Tuesday,
June 8, 1976.
4. That in the areas affected by this consolidation order
the election sh.ot~ld be h.eld in all respects as though there was only
one election and the County C1erk of Butte County is hereby ordexed
and directPd to provide accordingly within the territory affected
by said consolidation, ~he eTection precincts, polling places and
voting booths for each of said eTections hereby consolidated and to
provide for only one set of election of~icers in each of the pxecin~ts
affected by thi.s consol.idafion order.
5. That the County C1erk is further ordered and directed to
set forth in each form of ballot and samp~e ballot, to be used in
said consolidated election., the:~ballot measure for said board of
directors electio~rt, to mail ~o ~he qualified electors of the
respective distric~ the appropriate sample ballots and pollin.g cards
sign.ed by said County Clerk rela~ing to said election and to provide
absent vo~er ballots for said election and said State Primary Election
consolidated therewith for use by qualified electors of the respecti.ve
district who may be entitled thereto as provided by law.
6. That the County CZerk shall canvass or cause to be
can,vassed ~he re~urns of said district election and shall certify
said canvass of the vo~es ~as~ to the respective governing boards.
7. Thae the Countq Clerk is further authorized to charge to
the xespective distric~ ~ehe expense of ~he election.attributable to
said district. .
