1 WHEREAS, tktere is mach needless delay, inefficiency and cost involved
2 in the processing of envi.ronmental documentis under the°procedures required by
3 'CEQA;
4 i NOW, 7`HEREFORE, BE IT ANI3 IT 25 AEREBY RESOLVED that the Board o~
S Supervisors of this County endorses the principle that CEQ,A should be stream-
8'lined and urges tfie State Administration and Legislature to take appropr3.ate
7 steps to amend Public Resources Code s~ 21000, and foilowing, (CEQA) so as to
8;xeduce costs and delays to the public entities and private applicants and to
J increase the efficieney of the entire environmental review proceduxe.
