WHEREAS, on March 9, 1976 _. ~his Board adopted its
Resolution No. ~6-~'2 , Resoltrtion ot In~ention and therein
dzrected the Engineer to prepare a Report under the provisions
of the Municipal Improvement Act of 19~3 respecting the
proposed construction o£ certain public improvement work for a
proposed Lassen Avenue Assessment District No. 1 all of which
improvement work is describad in saa.d Resolution, and
WHEREAS, on March 9, 1976 , the Engineer aating in
accoz~dance with the direction so made to him a.n said Ftesolu~ion
fluly made and filed writh the Clerk of this Board the said
Report, and
WHEREAS, said Repor~ contains all ~he matters speci~ied a.n
streets and Highways Code Section 10,204 (the applicable Sec~ion
o~ said Municipal Improvement Act of 1913) and includes therein
a proposed Assessment to be designated Lassen A~crenue Assessment
Distxict No. l, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk of this Board has presented said Report
~o this Board and tha.s Board has duly examined and considered
the same.
NOW THER~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BQARD OF SUPERVISORS ~
OF BUTTE COUNTY 115 FOLLOWS:
1. That the Report of the Engineer described in the
reci~als of this resolution and a11 the parts and portions .
thereof including the proposed assessmenfi contained ~herein is
hereby preliminarily adopted, confirmed and approved.
2. That this Board hereby sets A ri1 2 . 1976, at
the hour.of 2:00 o'clock P.M., in the Butte County Ac7ministrat-ion
Building, Oroville, Cali~arnia, as the time and place ~or nearing
protests to any matters contained in said Resolution of ~ntention
or in said Report or to,the County of Butte constructing the public
improvement work described in the Report or to this District
assesszng the cost and expenses thereof on a proposed assessment
district heretofore designated Lassen Avenue Assessment Distr~ct
No. I, and he~eby directs the Clerk of th~s Board to give notice
for said hearzng in ~he manner, form, and time required by the
Municipal Tmprovement Act of 1913.
3. That this Baard hereby designates~he Chico Enterp~ise Record
a newspaper published and circulated in the County of Butte as the
newspaper in which to publish all notices required to be published
under the Municipal Tmprovement Act of 1913 for ~he proceedings for
the proposed Lassen Av~nue Assessment ~ist~ict.No. l.
' On a motion by Supervisor 1~.chter , seconded by Supervisor
~adigan , the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by
the--BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OE-.THE- COUNTY _DF BUTTE.,_. STATE_.OF CALIFORFIIA,
this 9tn day of rqarch , 1976, by the fol.lowing vote, to--wit:
