I 18 Z9 20 21 22 23 24 26 28 WHEREAS the Superintendent of Butte County Schools desires to under~take a eertain project designated Cooperative Agency Program to Reduce Juvenile Delinquency to be funded in part £rom funds made available thxough ~he Omnibus Crime Contro]. and Safe Stree~s Act of 1g68, PL 90-355, as amended PL 91-6L,.Q., (hereaftex referred to as the Safe Streets Act} administered by the California Council on Criminal Justice (hereafter referred to as CCCJ). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED thaE the Assistant Superintendent o£ Butte County Schools was authorized, on its behalf, ~o submit the at~Eached Application for Grant for T,aw Enforcement Purposes to CCCJ and is au~horized to execute on behaJ..f of the County of Butte ~he attached Grant Award Contract f'or law enforcement purposes including ar~ extensions or amendments thereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide all matching funds required for said project (inclucling any extension or atnendmen-~ thereo£} under -~he Safe Streets Act and the rul.es and regulations of CCCJ and the Law Enforcement Assis-~ance Administration and that cash w~ll be d appropriated as required thereby.
