designated Land Fraud Investigative Division to be funded in par~ ~rom funds made
available pursuant to the Crime Control Aet of 1973, P~ 93-g3, administered by the
Office of Criminal Justice P~anning (hereafter referred to as OCJP) £or the
California Council an Criminal Justzce.
NOW, THER~E'ORE, BE IT RESOLUED that the District Attorney of the Courzty of
Butte is authorized on behalf of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte to
submit Application for Grant for Law Enf'orcement Purgoses to OCJP and is authorized
to execute on behalf o~ ~he County of Butte the Grant Award for law enforcement
pusposes including any extensions ar ar~endments thereof.
BE IT FURTHER 1~ESOLVED tnat the applicant agrees to provide all ma~ching
funds required for said project (including an,y extension or amendment thereof) under
the Crime Control Act and the rules and regulations of OCJP and the Law Enforcement
Assis~ance Administration (LEAA) and ~hat cash will be appropriated as required
thereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLV~D that grant funds received hereunder shall not be
used ta supplan~ on-going law enforcement expenditures.
