after appzopriate proceedings, duly adopted a resoluti:on approving
rhe proposed annexati:on and assigning to said proposal tk~.e following
distinctive short=form designation: I~AFCo No. 76-2 Annexa~ion ~o
County Service Area No. 40, and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the resolution of approval f~om
the Loca1 AGency Formation Commission, this Board on February 24,
~.976 adopted Resolution No. 76-28, a resolution and notice of
intention to annex territory to County Serviee Area No. 40 and
setting a public hearing on said proposed annexation to be held
on March 30, 3.976, at 10:30 a.m., and
WIiEREAS, notice of said public hearing was duly and propexly
given, the saa.d hea~'i.ng has been held and all persons desiring to
be heard have beeri heard, n.o w7citten protests of the proposed
annexation were filed with this Board and the factors set forth in
Governmen~C Code §563].4.J. have been eonsidered.
N~W, TH~REFQRE, BE IT RESOLVED and ordered pursuant to
Government Code §§56319.~., 56320, and 56323 that the territory
described in Exhibit "A" at~ached hereto and made a part hereot by
this reference is ordered annexed to County Service Area No. 40,
without election, for the purpose o~ pro~criding th.e installation of
street lighting located within the boundaries of the a~ea described
herein pursuant to Government Code §25210.4a.
