WFiEREAS, on March 9, 1976, this Soard adopted its
Resolution No. 76-46 providing for issuance of Improvement Bonds
in a principal amount not to exceed $800.000.00, and ~
WHEREAS, in said Resolutian No. 76-46 tha.s Board
designated said bonds "Improvement Bond, Lassen Avenue Assessment
Distric~ No. 1, Butte Co~tnty," and provided~tha~ said bonds wouid
be dated on or after June 10, 1976, and would bear interest at
a ra~e nat to exceed eight percen't {80} per annum froni that date,
and
C~HEREAS, said Resolution No. 76-46, duly aiithbrized
the public sa~.e of said bonds, and
WHEREAS, no~ice of sale of sazd bonds has been duly
given zn the mannex''prescribed_by~ sazd Resolution No. 76-46, and

l. Tha~ this Board finds that each~of the recitals
to this Resolu-Eion are-true. ~
2. That',said bid of N.~K. NcPHAZL & CO.
to purchase no~~~o excaed $800,000.00 par value of said
bonds at 95.24~ of ~lie par value thexeof, and at an interest
rata of 6.75$ per annum sha3.1 be and is herel~y accepted.
3. '~hat the Treasurer of said Coun~y of Butte is authorized
and.directed to.deliver said bonds to said. N. K. McPHAIL & CO.

4. The County Treasurer of said County is directed
ta cause to be lithographed, pxznted o~ engraved a suff~cient
number of bonds and cougons of suitabXe quality, ~o represent
each o~ the assessments of $5b.00 or more fo~ said Lassen Avenue
Assessment Dzstzzct No. 1 together wi~h a suitable number of
blank bonds, said bonds'and coupons to--sho~ on ~heir face that
the sa.me bear in~erest at the rate afo~esaid, and said bonds
