of the County of Butte, has presen~ed to the Board of Supervisors a review
o~ the Labor Housing Grat~.C Agreement and ~'inancial assistance to be
furnished to the Housing Authority of the County of Butte by the Farmers
Home Administration for the repair, ~emodeling and construction of
facilities, and
WHEREAS, the Board o~ Supervisors of the County ot Butte have been
£urthar advised th.at ~he ~inanciaY assis~tance for the project will be
in the form of a toCa1 loan and grant of $550,000, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of But~e are we7.1
a~raxe o~ the need and urgen.cy for repair, remodeling and construction
of facilities at the Gridley Farm Lai~or Center, and
WIiEREAS, this Board of Supervisors is the "local goverx~.z.ng body"
whose concurrence is required by said Section 36056, Health and Safety
Code.
NOW, TfiEREFORE, B~ IT RESOLVED that the Board of Su~ervisors of
the Coun.ty o~ Butte hereby approve the applica~ion of tha Housing
Authority of the County of Butte in reques~ing federal assistance from
the Farfners Iiome Admin.istration for rhe repair, remodel9.ng and
construction of facilities for domes~ic farm labox at the ~'arm Labor
Center at Gridley in ~Che County of Butte.
