project designated Criminal. Justice-Lega1 Research Assistant to be
funded in part from funds made available pursuant to tl~e Crime Control
Act of 19'73, P~93~3, administered by the Office of Criminal Justice
Plannir~ (hereafter referred to as OCJP) for the Cali~'ornia Council on
Oriminal Justice.
NOW~ '1'fTERE~l?~~ BE IT FtESOLVED that the Presiding Jvdge of the
Butte Count~ Superior Cour~t was authorized, on its behalf, to submit the
attached Aronli.cation for ~rant ~or Law Enforcement Purposes to OCJP and is
authorized to execute on behalf of the County of Butte the attached Grant
Award for 1.aw enforcement purposes including any eartensions or amendments
thereof.
BE TT FUR7.i~R. RESOLUED that the applican~ agrees to provzde all
matching funds required for said project (~.nclucling any extension or amendment
thereof) under the Crime Control Ac-E an.d -Ehe rules ar~d xegulations of OCJ'P
and the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration (LEAA) and that cash will
be appropr3ated as ~~qui~ed ther.eby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVID that grant funds received here~der shall
not be used to supnlant on going 1.aw en~orcement expenditures.
