RESOLUTION N0. 76-93 ~'
RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
4lHEREAS the County of Butte desires to undertake a certain project
des~gnated Regional Communications Implement~tion to be funded in part from
funds made avaiiable pursuant to the Crime Control Act of i973, PL 93-83;
admin3stered by the Office o~ Criminal Justice P1anning (hereafter referred
tv as OCJP} for the Cal9fornia Council on Criminal Justice.
NOW, 7HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Communications Officer of the
County of Bu~te was authorized, on its behalf, to submit the attached Appliea-
tion for Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes to OCJP and is authorized;to`
execute on behalf of the County of Butte the attached Grant Award for law
enforcement purposes includir~q any extensions or amendments thereof.
BE IT FURTNE.R RESOLVED ~hat the applica~t'agrees ~o provide al7 match-
ing funds required for said project (includinq any extension or amendment
thereof) under the Crime ControT Act and ~he rules and regulations of OCJP
and the Law Enfarcement Assistance Admin~stration (LEAA} and that cash wi71
be appropriated as required thereby.
BE IT F'UR7NER RESOLVED that qrant funds received hereunder shal;l not
be used to supplant on-going law enforcement expenditures.
