OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA (Vehicle Code Section 21359) The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 ~~ ~~. ZZ 23 24 28- 26 27 28 29 30 31 32. do ordain as follows: Section L: Said Board finds and determines that upon the basis of an emergency condition caused by flooding, the county highway hereinafter described comes within the provisions of Section 21359 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, in that a prima facie speed limit of sixty-five (65) miles per hour is more than is reasonable and safe on said highway:, and determines and declares a prima facie speed limit on such county highway as follows: Section 2: That a prima facie speed limit of Thirty-£ive (35) miles per hour is hereby determined, declared and established upon the hereinafter described county highway, to wit: (a) On Oroville-Gridley Highway between State Highway 40A and a point 0.90 miles easterly of the westerly line of Kirk Road. Section 3: That SPEED LIMIT 35 MILES. signs be placed at appropriate locations on the road described in Section 2. Section 4: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are. hereby repealed. Section 5: The several features, parts, provisions, sections and terms of this ordinance. are hereby declared independent and severable, and the invalidity, if any, of any feature, part, provision, section or term thereof shall not affect the remainder of this ordinance, nor render the same inoperative or invalid. Section 6: The Department of Public Works of the County of Butte is hereby directed to erect appropriate signs immediately, giving notice o£ the prima facie speed limits established herein.
