RESQLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF '~'HE
COiNTY OF BUTTE ADOPTING A C~JNFLICT OF INT~RES~
CpDE APPLICABLE TO fiHE ME~ERS OF THE SOA~tD OF

NOW, TtIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte Caunty Board
of Supervisors as follows: ,

Board of Supervisors h.ereby adopts this Conflict of Interes~. Cade.
2. Thi.s Con~li.cC of interes~ Code shall be applicable to
members of the County Board o~ Supervi.soxs, wheCher actin.g as Board '
members or as members of any county board. or couimission.
3. P2embers of t~e Board of Sv.pervisors are required, pursuant
to Government Code §87200, ~o dxsclose in.vestments, interest in.
real proper~y and ~.ncome. No other`or no additional disclosure
requiremen~s are imposed by this Conflict o~ Zt~.~e~est Code. •
4, Any member of the Soard of'Supervisors, whether acting
as a Board membez or as gove~ing board member or co~issior3.er of any
co~nty agency, m~st disqualifg himself or hersel.f from making or
parti.ca.pati.ng in. the making of any decision.s which wi11 foreseeably
have a material fin.ancial effect, distinguishabJ.e fxom its effect on
the public genera3.I.y, on any economi.c interest, as defined in Governme~t
Code §87103. No member sha11 be prevented from makin.g or participating
in tl~.e making o~ any decisi.on. ~o ~he e~~en.t his or her pazticipa~i.oxt
is legally requxzed for Che decision ~o be mada.
5. Excegt as otherwise indicated, the definitions contained
in the Political Reform Act of 1974 (Govern~ent Code §81d00} and
Regulations adopted pursuant thereto are incorporated into ~his
Conflict of Interest Code.
6, 'I'he County C1erk is directed to ~oxward a certzfied
copy oi this resolution to the Fair Po~~~ical Practices Commission.
