RESOLUTION ADOPT~NG STAT~ PROC~DURE FOR DISPOSAL
OF EXCESS FEE OWNED PARCELS
WHEREAS, through the disposal by sa~,e of excess fee-owned
parcels, not needed for highway purposes, to adjoining owners
without calling foz competitive bids a substantial savings to the
Couzzty in manpower and expense would be realized, and
WHEREAS,_.by adopting such a procedure of disposa~ng of excess
fee-owned parcels, the property would be placed back on the tax rolls
to generate revenue, and
WHEREAS, the S~a~e of California by reso~.ut~.on passed by the
California Highway Commission. ~n May 17, 1945, disposes of excess
fee-owned parceZs no longer needed for highwap purposes to adjoinin.g
owners without calling ~r competitive bids.
NOW, 'I`HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that ~Ize Board of Supervisors
o~ the County of Butte, State of California, hereby adopts the
procedure created through resolurian No, passed by the
California Highc+ray Commission.on. May 17, 1974 which is attached
hereto as Exhibi~ "A" and incorpozated herein as if set forth in
tu11.
