SCHOOL DTSTRICT ELECTION WITH GEN~R4L
ELECTI'ON ~OF NOVEMBER 2, 1976.
WHEREAS, a special election has been ca~.led by the
Governing Board of the Yuba Community College District and the
Yuba County Committee on School District Organization, whexein
two measures are to ba proposed to the electorate of said District,
and
WHEREAS, the Governing Board of the Yuba Community
Colle~e Distric~ has ~equested consolidation. of said election with
the General Elec~ion of November 2, 1976, pursuant to Sections
23300 - 23302 and 233~.4 of the Elections Code, and
WH~It~„l~..S, said District election wi1l be conducted within
the followin~ ax~eas of this County:
That por~ion of Maxysvil.l.e Joint Unifzed
School District which lies wi~hin the bound,aries
of Bu~~e Gounty
and
WHEREAS, this Board finds that for reasons of convenience
and economy the District election should be sa consolidated.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, ORDERED AND DET~RM'iN~D that:
1. Said District election be consolidated in said areas
of this County with the General Election of Novembex 2, 1976.
2. The County Clerk is directed to conduct said
consolidated election and a11 other proceedings incidental there~o
and connected therewith in accordance with the provisions of 1aw
regulating statewide elections.
