WHEREAS, the Governing Boaxds of ~he Paradise Recrea-
tion and Park Dis~rict, the Chico Area Recreation.and Park
District, and ~the Durham Recreata:on and Park District, have
passed xesolutions calling elections for purposes of e~.ecting
members to th.e respective governing boaxds, said elections to be
on l~ovember 2, 1976; and
WHEREAS, each of the aforesaid Governi~g Boards has
requested the Board of Supervisors of the County of But~e ro order
the consolidation of each o~ the aforesaid electians ~rith the
State General Election to be held on ~uesday, November 2, 1976.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED AND RES4LVED by the Board
of Supervisars of the County of Butte, State of Calz~orn~.a as
follows:
l. That the aforesaid elections called by the aforesaid
Governing Boards for November 2, 197b, and by the Board of Super-
visors, shall be and the same are hereby consolidated with the
State General Elec~i.on to be held November 2, 1976.
2. '~hat in the areas atfected by this consoli.dation
order the election should be held in a11 respects as though thexe
was on1.y on.e election and the Caun~y CI.e~'k af Butte County is
hereby ordered and directed to provide accordingly within the
territory a~'fected by said consolida~ion, the election precincts,
polling places and voting baoths for each of sai~ e~.ections hereby

consolidated and to grovide for only one set of election officers
in each of the preczncts affec~ed by this consolidation order.
3. That the County Clerk is further ordered and di~ec~ed
to set forth in each form of ballot and sample ballot, to b.e used
in said consolidated<: elections, insofar as applicable, the ballot
measure for said governing board member, elections, revenue limi~
increase elections, bond election, maximum. tax rate electzon,
election to abolish trustee areas, and election to incorporate, to
maiL ~o ~he qualified electors of the respective district the
appropriate sample ballots and polling place cards signed by said
County Clerk reTating to said election and to provide absent voter
ballots for said elections and said State General ~lection consol~-
dated therewith for use by qualzfied electors of the respecti~e _ _
districts who may be entitled thereto as provided by ~aw.
4. That the County Clerk shal~ ca~vass or cause ~o be
canvassed the returns of said district elections and shall certify
said canvass of the votes:~;cast to the respective governing boards.
5o That the County C~e~k ~s furthex authorized to charge
to the respective dis~ricts the expense of the elec~ion or elections
attxibutiable to said districts,
