RESOLUTION AUTHORIZIIVG CHAI.RMAN OF THE
BOARD ~F SUPERVTSORS TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT
FOR OBSEitVATION 1~ND TE~ORARY D~T~NTION
IN Z`HE DEP'ARfiMENT OF THE YOUTH AUTfIORITY
WfIEREAS, the County o~ Butte is desirous of
obtaining the services of the Departmen~ of the Youth
Au~hozity regarding dispositions to be made wirh respect
to minors who have been determined by the Juvenile Cov.rt
of this county to be persons described by Welfare and
Institutions Code §§601 and 602,
WHEREAS, the Department of the Xouth Au~hority
is capable of providing the sexva.ces as specified in the
proposed agreement, a copy of which is a~~achec~ hereto, and
WHEREAS, saa.d agreement has beeri approved by
auditor and counsel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEA that ~he Chairman
of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte 3.s hereby
av.thorized to execute said agreement an: behal~' of the Cov.nty
of Butte.
