praject designated as the "Court Work Referral Program" to be funded
in part from funds made available pursuant to the Crime Cantrol Act
af 1973, PL 93-83, adminis~ered by the Office of Criminal Justice
Planning (hereafter referred to as OCJP) for the California Council on
Criminal Justice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Honorable Ann Houghton,
Judge of the Chico Municipal Court was authorized, on its behalf, to
submit the attached Application for Grant for Law Enforcement Purpases
to OCJP and is authorized to execute on beha~f of the Coun~y of Butte,
the attached Grant Award for law enforcement purposes including any
extensions or amendm~nts thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide
a71 matching funds required for said project (including any extension
or amendment ~hereof) und~r the Crime Control Act and the ruZes and
regulations of OCJP and the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration
(LEAA) and that cash wiil be appropria~ed as requir~d thereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED ~hat grant funds received hereunder
shali not be used to supplant on-going law enforcement expenditures.
