and Park District has passed a resolution cal~ing for the elec~ian of
three members of the Board of Directors, and
WHEREAS, the governing board of the Feather River Recreation
and Park District has reques~ed the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte to order the consolidation of the aforesaid election with
the State Genera~ Election to be held on Tuesday, November 2, 1976.
NOW, THEREFORE, B~ IT ORDERED AN~ RESOLUED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That the aforesaid election cal7ed by the aforesaid
Governing Board for November 2, 1976, and by the Board of Supervisors,
shal] be and the same is hereby consolidated w~th the State General
Election ta be held November 2, 1976.
2. 7hat in the area affected by this consolidation order
the elect~on should be held in all respec~s as though there was oniy
one election and the County C1erk of But~e County is hereby ordered
and directed to provide accordingly with the territory affected by
said consolida~ion, the eiection precincts, polling p7aces and voting
booths for each of said elections hereby conso]idated and ta provide
for only one set of election officers in each of the precincts affected
by this consol~dation order.
3. That the County Clerk is further ordered and directed
to se~C forth in each form of ballot and sample ballot, to ~e used in
said consoiidation election, insofar as app]icable, th~ ballot measure
for said govern9ng board member election, to maii to the qualified
electors of the respective district the apprapriate sample ballots and
polling p~ace cards signed by said County C7erk relating to said

4. That the Coanty Clerk shall canvass or cause to be
canvassed the returns of,said district election and shall certify
sai;d canvass of the votes cast to the said governing board.
5. That the County Clerk is furtlier authorized to charge
