Authority have passed a resalution calling an elect~on far ~he purpase
of submitting to the qua~ified elec~ors wi~hin the City of Orov~7le a
measure approving ~he deve7opment, construc~ion and acquisitian of iow
ir~come housing with~n the City of Orovi~le, and
W~{~REAS, the Commissioners o-~ ~he aforesaid Bu~te County
Hausinq Authority have requested the Baard of Supervisors of ~he Co~an~y
of Butte to order ~he consolidation of the a~oresaid election with the
Genera7 ~7 ection -~o be he~ d on `fuesday, €~ovember 2, i 976.
NOW, 7H~REFORE, BE T~ ORDER~D RND RESOLVED by ~he Board o~F
Superv~sors o~ ~~e Coun~y of Butte, Stat~ of Cali~orn~a, as fo1lows;
7. That th~ aforesa~d e~ec~~on calied by ~he a~oresaid
Comm~ssion~rs af the B~at~e Coun~y Hous~ng Authori~y for Nov~mber 2,
i976 shaii be and the same is hereby consolida~ed with the General
Ei ec~~on ~o b~ h~l d~[ovember 2, i 976.
2. i'hat in the areas a~fected hy tf~is consolidation order
t~e e3ection sha~l be he7d ~n a~7 respec~s as ~hough there were only
one e7ec~ion and the County C~erk of Bu~te County ~s hereby ordered
and directed to provide accordingly, wi~h~n ~he terri~ory affected
by said consoiida~ion, the election precincts, paliing p~aces and vating
booths for sa~d election hereby consolidated ar~d to provide for only
or~e set of elec~ion off~cers in each of the prec9ncts affected by this
consolida~ion arder.
3. That the County CZerk is ~ur~her ordered and dlrected ta
set forth in each ~orm of ba11o~ and samp~e ballot, ~o be ~sed tn said
consol i dated el ection, i nsofar as appl i cab1 e, t}~e bal i o-~ measure for
ORD~R AND RESOLUTION PROVIDI~G FOR THE CO~SOLIDATION
OF TH~ BUTTE COU~~Y ~OUSING AUTHORITY ELECTION WIT~
THE CENERAL ~E~~~CT~ON TO ~~~ H~LQ NOV~MB£R 2, 197G
said Bu~te County ~ousing Autharity, to mai7 to the qua~ified electors
of the district appropriat~ sample ballo~s and po~ling p7ace cards
signed by said Coun~y Clerk relating to said election and to provide
absent voter ba~Zats for said elec~ion and said Genera7 E7ection
consolidated therew~th for use by qualif~ed el~ctors a~ ~he district
w~o may be entit7ed thereto as ~ravided by Taw.
4. That ~he County C1erK sha~7 ca~vass or cause to be
canvassed the returns af said distr~c~ e~ection and shai7 certify
such canuass o~ the va~es cast to the Butte Coun~y Housing Authority.
5. ~ha~ the County Clerk is further authorized ~o charge
to the Butte County Hous~ng Author3ty distric~ ~he expenses of the
e~ection attributable to said distr~ct.

this 2~ day o~ August, 1976, by the following vote:
