This matter came on regularly fox heari.ng befnre the Board
o£ Supervisors of the County of ~utte, Sta~Ce of Cali.fornia, an
Auaust 31 , 1976, in the Supervisors' Room of the
Butte County Administration Building fronting on I-luntoon Street, in
Oraville, California, Butte County, and it appeaxing to said Board that
a Notice of Intentipn and Resoluti.on to Aband.on a Public I~fighway ~nd
Notice of Time and Place of Hea.ring of said Abandonment k~as duly and
reguiarly given as xequired by l.aw, and testimony and evidence, ~o~h
oxal and documentary, having been produced at said hearing, from which
said Bpaxd now finds that the hereinafter c~escribed Public Highway
is unnecessary for present and pxospective use:
NOVJ, THEREF4RE, IT IS HEREBY ORDEIt~D AS FOLLO~±TS:
I. That the public highway situate in the County nf Butte,
State of Califoxnia, as hereinaftex more partxcul.arly described, ~.s
hereby abandoned.
2. That the descript9.an a£ saic~ publi.c highway so abandon.ed
is situate in the;'Cnuntiy o~ 33utte, State of Calz£ornia, and more
particularly described as fo~.J.ok~s :
AJ.1 that portion of Bidwell Ave. lying east of the
eastexly line of Cussick Ave. as shown on the P4ap of
~ the Cussick Tract recorded November 27, 1895, in
Book 1 at Page 48 county of Butte, State of California,
reserving therefrom all rights of the public utilities
in accordance with Section 959.1 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California.
