HomeMy WebLinkAbout76-155BOARD OF SUPERVISaRS COUNTY OF BUTTE~ STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION FIXING TAX RATES IN THE COUNTY OF BUTTP (Government Code Sections 29100 to 29109 Inclusive) WHER£AS, the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF No. 76-iss CALI~'ORNIA, did at a regular meeting of said Board, and after due and proper notice as required by law, by resolution adopt a final budget for the COUNTY OF BUTTE for the fiscal year 1976-77, which said Resoluti.on is on fil.e in the office of the Clerk of said County; and WHEAEAS, it is incumbent upon said Board, in accordance with Article 5, Division 3, Title 3(being Sections 29100 to 29109 inclusive, of the Goverrunent Code) to by resolution fix the tax rate of said County for the fiscaJ, yeax 1976-77; NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE GOUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALTFORNTA AS FOLLOWS: l. That said Board does hereby fix the xates of County and Distric~ taxes on the secured roll of said County for the fiscal year 1976~77 by designating the number of cents levied for each fund on each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of taxable value in the County of Butte for the fiscal year 1976-77 as is Y~exein- a~ter set forth. ~he designated rates as hereinafter set forth are such as will produce after due allowance for delinquency as fixed by 1ew or as hereinafter fixed by this Board and in the same ma~ner as tax rates are fixed, the amount found by ded~acting from the total appropriations and reserves: (a) The amount of established revenue from other sources (b} Available surplus 2. Except as to any other a17.owance for delinquency as fixed by law or ~his Board, a sum equal to five percent (5~) of the assessed valuation of the local. secured ro11 and the loca7 unsecured ro11 is hereby determined as the allowance for delinquency; 3.
